This unusual "Meritage" blend lead by 50% of South Okanagan Petit Verdot delivers a beautiful result based on finesse, great length and complexity. The structure and the back-bone of this wine is evident with bright acidity and stunning depth of tannin, even if they are not aggressive, they are present and sumptuous, which faire very well for the future development of this wine. The nose offers floral notes of violet and pot-pourie, blackberry, black plum and also meaty undertone accompanied of cedar and graphite. The palate is super soft and gracious, offering a generous amount of black fruits like blackberry, black current, black cherry, but also a mid-palate packed with mocha, licorice, dark chocolate and vanilla, fresh herb and mint, followed by charcoal like minerality, black crack pepper and cinnamon that linger forever.
